2025 is a milestone year for Silverstein. The post-hardcore giants will not only be celebrating 25 years as a band, but also the release of their ambitious two-part 11th studio album project - the first part titled Antibloom will be released on February 21, 2025. In May of 2024, the band headed to Joshua Tree, CA to fully indulge themselves in the solitude of the desert and begin studio work on their new album. They found themselves so deeply inspired by the atmosphere that they ended up with more songs than could fit on one piece of music - thus birthing the double album concept. "Antibloom is a reference to the desert, the empty vastness, the harshness, something we experienced while making the record. This is not a concept record, the concept was making a record in this space, and while the lyrics/songs are not directly connected in any shape or form, the concept of death or mortality does appear a lot". 'Cure' is the first single and title track from Alabama based metalcore giants ERRA' new album "Cure" (April 5th, 2024). This release marks the first new album from the band since their critically acclaimed S/T album ERRA released in March of 2021 (+42mil streams | 7000 LPs | 4000 CDs). "Cure was one of the last songs we wrote for the record. I had this groove riff that I was just so obsessed with, to the point that I wanted to stay with it for the full duration of the song. So even though the song stays in 4/4 for the most part, we're always staying locked into this dotted sequence of on rhythm guitars and kick, making the rhythm feel complex yet easy to latch onto as a listener. In the final breakdown section, we stay with this dotted sequence, but switch the time signature to 6/8 for a few bars, before reverting back to 4/4 to close out the song. These playful tinkerings with time signature serve as a suitable introduction to the approach we took with grooves throughout the whole record." - Jesse Cash

Northlane release their anticipated new album 'Node,' via UNFD! 'Node' will be the Sydney-based act's first album since the critically and commercially successful 'Singularity,' which debuted at #3 on the ARIA Charts and received universal acclaim upon its release in March 2013. 'Singularity' launched the band worldwide and saw them tour extensively in Europe, North America and Australia/New Zealand. In mid-2014, then-vocalist Adrian Fitipaldes departed for health reasons, leaving a question mark hanging over their future. But from this unrest came something wholly new - after answering an open audition call alongside over 2,000 other hopefuls from around the world, Sydney's Marcus Bridge emerged as the new frontman. The band wrote, recorded and released the stunning single "Rot" in a few days.
